Patty gained first hand knowledge of the process of in-home training and
behavior consulting when she was fortunate enough to apprentice under local
trainer Jen Digate, CPDT of Unleashed Animal Training, LLC. That knowledge
was furthered with her wonderful internship at the Wisconsin Humane Society
under Manners Class Coordinator, mentor Heather Mohan, MS, RVT, CPDT.
Patty has participated in numerous workshops, seminars, and animal
educational venues. Well-versed in the science of teaching and learning, she offers a wealth of
academic knowledge and practical training experience. Her most valued experience, however
has come from the training of her own five wonderful dogs - Madison, Sunshine, Toby, Dylan,
and Emma - and her amazing clicker trained kitten Marcus.

| Patty holds a Masters degree in Adult Technical and Vocational Education from the University of Wisconsin. She is an alumna of The Animal Behavior College where she graduated with honors. Patty is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPACTP) and is among the first clicker trainers in the country to graduate from the renowned Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior. Additionally, Patty holds certification through The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). |
