| Repertoire's WE TRAIN Service |
| Primarily Repertoire works with clients to teach them the skills to train their own dog. Repertoire DOES, however, have an option for working with your animal in your home when you are not there if you desire that type of plan. Our WE TRAIN service includes regular sessions with you to explain the training and to transfer the skill-set to family members who will be interacting with the dog. As an example, imagine you hired Repertoire to come to your home for an hour once per week (while you were at work) to work on the following training issues:
Repertoire may then require that your family meet with the trainer another day during the week for a 30 minute recap/practice session to ensure that everyone who handles the dog is consistent. (These times are estimated. The amount of training time with the dog, and the subsequent recap with the family would be based on the specific training being done.) Many busy families find this a great alternative to attending formal obedience classes. (This type of service lends itself well to novelty training such as teaching a dog to get you a drink from the refrigerator, put his toys away, turn on and off lights, ring a bell to go outside, or skateboard, to name a few examples.) IMPORTANT NOTE: This training service may not be available for every situation and, in general, is not recommended when working on serious behavioral issues. Availability of this option is based on the most suitable plan for your dog's training need. |
